Hi, I’m Tina. Thanks for stopping by.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Owner and Founder of Still Blooming Counseling Services, LLC. I work with individuals, couples, and families with adult children. My therapeutic philosophy is fueled by a person’s story and the way it connects us to each other.  Your story matters and it deserves to be heard. It is rooted in the foundation of empowerment and vital to the sense of self.

Humbled by a person’s courage and strength to reach out for help, I honor the risk people take to explore and make change. I see it as the seeds of growing self-compassion.

Sometimes people just get out of sync and may benefit from looking at their functioning demands and how to adapt to meet those needs. Others may be experiencing anxiety or depression. Together we will explore and develop effective coping skills. My specialties are depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and self-esteem.

~ Experience

I received my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh and my Bachelor of Science from Duquesne University. I am certified in Eco Systemic Structural Family Therapy. Before starting Still Blooming Counseling I practiced as a licensed clinician in a private practice, as a family-based therapist, and as an Intensive Outpatient Program therapist. I taught high school in Pittsburgh’s inner-city schools and mentored teen mothers through the Maikuru Project at the University of Pittsburgh.

I live gratefully and spend my free time in my gardens, writing, reading, and cooking. I cherish my friends and know my life is rich because of them.

I offer both in person and virtual sessions.
